An Introduction to the RCSA

The Royal College of Science Association (RCSA) was set up in 1908 and is a Chapter under the Imperial College Association umbrella comprising the former students from the Departments of Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics (collectively termed the "Royal College of Science") at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, which is a large College within the University of London in the UK.

The first President was the author H G Wells, whose books include The Time Machine and War of the Worlds.

These web pages are designed to introduce new people to the RCSA and to allow its current members to keep in touch with what the Association is doing.

For those of you who are new to the Association, the Members' page goes into detail on the qualifications for membership, and the benefits and cost of joining. These web pages also include details of the publications that we produce, the very important RCSA Trust and a list of the current Committee. There is also a page that gives details of how to contact us in the event of any queries that you may have. If you have any specific feedback on these pages or would like to see something added to them, then please also use these contact details to get in touch with us.
